Village Structure Blueprints

minecraft village house

Because, I actually helped my oldest son complete this house tutorial a couple of years ago. In yet another TSMC tutorial, we’re shown how to build a modern suburban style house. While these kinds of houses aren’t my cup of tea, for anyone who is looking to put together a realistic town or city, this house would fit in perfectly. I don’t know what it is about this TonyMC house build, but it is one of my favorites on this list. I think the realism of lifting the house up on stone blocks is what makes the build for me, but it probably also has to do with its Medieval design as well. In any case, if you’re looking for a fun idea for a house on an island, this build is worth trying.

Underground Minecraft house

Sprawled across 6 acres (2.4 ha) on what once was the Bing Crosby estate, the house dwarfs the sizable mansions on the block and looms large over tranquil Holmby Park near Wilshire Boulevard. A spawn is attempted on average once every 35 seconds and an iron golem can spawn when the 2×4×2 volume above the spawn point contains only non-solid blocks and the spawn block is solid. Random location choosing is attempted 10 times within 16 blocks of the villager, and is attempted once from 6 blocks above the chosen x and z, to 6 blocks below it.

If you fancy keeping your belongings below the surface, this fantastic guide shows you how to make your very own underground house. Keep some glass blocks handy so you can keep an eye on what’s going on above! Sometimes you just want something that simply looks good, but also isn’t ridiculously complicated to make. Like the one above, there are tonnes of wooden designs that are beautiful, and not too hard to put into practice, no matter your experience level with building.

Mountain Base

The Savanna Minecraft Village spans a large area in the Minecraft world and comprises simple houses, undemanding barns, and facile decorations. This is one of those Minecraft village-building ideas that don’t ask for a bevy of hard-to-get resources. Below you'll find some of our top Minecraft house ideas; from simple and cute builds, to elaborate castles, it's time to make your next house epic; whatever that means for you.

Either way, this permits you to come up with some unique ideas on how to conceal the entrance so those who don’t look too closely won’t even realize you’re dwelling beneath them. With the structures that are naturally generated in Minecraft (at least at the time of writing), almost all of them skew heavily toward rudimentary, medieval-style structures with wooden supports and stony accents. Attempting to build with similar materials, which just so happen to be those most abundant early on in your gameplay, it can begin to feel iterative and too similar to the last time you started a new world. One of the fundamental parts of your Minecraft experience is building your forever home. You might be focused on the basics, such as building cute houses (we see you, cottagecore), and simplicity may be key for you.

Fantasy Mansion

For a game all about digging down, it’s not very often that you think to look up. Throw in the benefit of often having much better and wider views of your surrounding area, and there seem to only be upsides to crafting a home high in the treeline. To get down, you can use vines to be as inconspicuous as possible, or ladders/waterfalls if your build is aiming to be on the larger side. While they can spawn few and far between, generation is random, so they can also spawn incredibly close to one another. The best ways to seek out a village are to watch for buildings in the distance, or – if you’re kitted up well enough – explore at night, when a village’s lights can be seen from a greater distance. It might also help to increase your render distance as much as you can without destroying performance.

The infrastructure of the village itself is teeming with decorations and boasts a wide variety of resources that beautify it as a whole. You’ll need to invest a fair amount of time and effort into this build, even if you’re considering constructing it in Creative Mode. Using a lot of Dirt and Stone, build up and create your own perfect spot in the sky.

In addition, players can fill the hole with two layers of carpet to achieve the same effect as zombies cannot pathfind into the door. Players can cure Zombie Villagers by using a golden apple on them while they are affected by weakness. In Nether-disabled servers, a witch and a zombie villager, or weakness tipped arrows from a master fletcher are needed. Witches sometimes throw a splash potion of weakness if a player is within 3 meters, which players can use to their advantage.

A village needs at least one house and one villager to be considered a village. The game utilizes villager breeding to try to maintain a 100% population level, so long as there are at least two villagers occupying it. If the player is within 48 blocks of a bell (claimed or not) when a wandering trader is being spawned, the trader spawns within 48 blocks of the bell rather than the player.

This is when a large number of zombies spawn in or near a village, attacking what villagers they can reach, crowding around and pounding on the doors of those they can't. On hard or hardcore mode, they can actually break down the wooden doors (this is true of all zombies, not just during sieges). Once a villager has claimed a bed, that bed is registered as a house in the village.‌[Bedrock Edition only] The villager remembers their bed location, even when underground. However, if a villager cannot reach their bed and then loses ownership of it, other villagers can claim it. In this case the previous bed owner forgets the bed location and searches for another unclaimed bed. The bell must be within the village boundary to be considered a centerpoint of the village, therefore it needs to be located near at least one villager and one bed.

This build requires you to create not only the house but also the tree from scratch, but the result is a nicely structured and aesthetically pleasing home with plenty of space inside for all your needs. All of these blend together to create a very detailed and good-looking house for any Minecraft player to emulate, and the idyllic bamboo garden surroundings only elevate this peaceful domicile to true zen qualities. For those of you that are looking for ideas for houses to build in areas that get snow, this winter mansion is a great option. YouTuber ToxicKailey built this house and has put together a ~30-minute long tutorial that walks you through how to build it step-by-step.

An aerial view of a Minecraft village might come off as eerie, but it’s something that best describes the village in question. This is a build that majorly comprises houses made out of Wood, which is quite possibly the easiest material to haul early on in the game. At times when you wrongfully create a water source, don’t forget to use sponges to soak all the liquid up and restore normalcy.
